Purchase requests and revocation

Presentation of the works

The works and worksheets shown on this website serve as information about the gallery program and the available art stock. Their presentation is not a legally binding offer to conclude a purchase contract.

Non-binding requests

Via the contact form, by e-mail or by telephone, you can request without obligation whether a work is available, arrange a viewing appointment or receive further information. By sending a request, a confirmation of receipt or sending further information, no purchase contract is concluded yet.

Acquisition on site

The acquisition of a work of art is generally carried out personally in the rooms of Galerie van den Boom, Hauptstraße 68, 14776 Brandenburg an der Havel, on the basis of an individual agreement. The information on the work, price, payment, handover and, if applicable, dispatch agreed upon at the time of purchase shall be decisive.

withdrawal

There is no statutory right of withdrawal for consumers for a purchase contract that is concluded in person at the gallery's business premises. Legal rights in the event of defects remain unaffected.

If, in individual cases, a contract is concluded exclusively by means of distance communication, for example by e-mail or telephone, and the work is sent, special consumer information and a statutory right of withdrawal may apply. In this case, you will receive separate information before the conclusion of the contract. The website itself does not currently allow such a binding conclusion of a contract.

Image and usage rights when purchasing art

With the acquisition of a work of art, ownership of the physical work is transferred. Copyright and other rights of use, in particular rights for reproduction, publication, editing or commercial use, are only transferred if this is expressly agreed.
