Galerie van den Boom wants to be more than a space in which art is viewed. We want to provoke without teaching. Polarize without ruling out. Ask questions without knowing the answers.
You don't have to understand art. You can be amazed, rejected, asked, discussed and touched. We don't care first: What did the artist want to say? We are interested in: What does it do to me?
The gallery sees itself as an experience space for art and culture. Exhibitions, conversations, music, performance and participation should bring people together and make different perceptions visible.
Recurring formats

Regular open evening: visit the gallery even without a vernissage or a fixed programme – to watch, linger and interact with other people.
